It fails to represent the book in the depth. Usually, the making out sequences being squeezed into the plot sticks out like a sore thumb but here, since it is the watershed moment, justifies the same. The moments with Sameer's friends are so realistic and their bond is quite palpable. Further the scenario changes when she reaches Mumbai and acquaints her neighbour Sameer. Plot The plot takes off with Preeti's journal which gives a glimpse of her childhood and teenage which is affected by her father's physical disability and her brother's demise. What will happen thenceforth is the crux of the story. The most beautiful moment changes to a nightmare when there is a shocking revelation. Further the readers get to feel a different foray into the world of romance. Slowly she realises the she has started falling for this no nonsense guy. Sameer, with his friends, welcomes Preeti to their crazy world. She meets Sameer and a strong friendship binds them together. Mumbai has a whole new life experience for her. Meant to be together is the real life story of the artist Preeti Thaker, who comes to Mumbai to escape from her troublesome past.
